{"id":122,"date":"2009-01-06T13:10:46","date_gmt":"2009-01-06T21:10:46","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mossor.org\/blog\/?p=122"},"modified":"2009-01-06T13:10:46","modified_gmt":"2009-01-06T21:10:46","slug":"better-presentations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mossor.org\/blog\/better-presentations\/","title":{"rendered":"Better Presentations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Merlin Mann at <a title=\"43 Folders\" href=\"http:\/\/www.43folders.com\/2007\/08\/23\/better-presentations\" target=\"_blank\">43Folders<\/a> did a great presentation on presentations that is worth a read.\u00a0 This was from 2007, but is still a good way to shake up your presentations.<\/p>\n<p>I admit I struggle with how best to apply some of the ideas since most of my presentations tend to be pretty technical and filled with details.\u00a0 So, I struggle with leaving them out and as a result, they tend to look like a bullet-fest-apalooza.\u00a0 And, you pretty much don&#8217;t see technical presentations given with stock photo footage.<\/p>\n<p>This leaves me wondering why that is and not having a great answer.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, it&#8217;s a great article on better presentations and if it gets me thinking differently, that&#8217;s not a bad thing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Merlin Mann at 43Folders did a great presentation on presentations that is worth a read.\u00a0 This was from 2007, but is still a good way to shake up your presentations.
